League 2009 Rules
TRAP LEAGUE
The league will begin on Thursday April 09th, 2009 and run each Thursday thru August 06, 2009 or 18 weeks. Except for May 14, we will shoot 12 May due to Peoria Skeet & Trap commitments.
The banquet dinner will be determined by the Dinner Committee and announce to the league. The presentation of trophies by Trophy Committee will be after dinner. NOT Determined Yet
League shall start at 12:00 pm and end before dark.
The Board of Directors of the Peoria Skeet and Trap Club reserve the right to cancel any Thursday league shoot.
THE TEAM
A team can consist of several members with a limit of 13 members total including Captain. Only 5 members will shoot per week. The 5 team members shooting for that league week will shoot 50 targets each.
SCORING
The league will be divided into appropriate number of divisions determined by Division Committee and number of total teams shooting in the 2009 League.
The league will operate on a point basis. There will be 3 points given for each 50 target match. One point for winning the first 25 target event, one point for winning the second 25 target event, and one point for winning the 50 target match. In the event of a tie for any point, each team will receive 1/2 point.
FORFEIT
A team shooting closer than their team's designated yardage shall forfeit.
A team shall forfeit if it cannot field at least 3 shooters, but an individual may shoot for his or her individual average.
Any team which forfeits shall receive 0 points; the opposing team receives 3 points. If two opposing teams both forfeit, both teams receive 0 points.
